QTA XII/ VI

For more information and advanced discussion please go to the Bungie.net topic here: QTA XII / VI

The picture shown above was shown off by Bungie September 9th, 2009, at PAX. This was during the time period ODST was getting ready to launch and they were doing some Q&A with guests and the media. Bungie stated, in this video here, that this image was of some kind of importance and they wanted people who were watching online and the people who were guests at the event to tweet to Marty taking guesses at exactly what the image meant and what QTA XII / VI meant. As time went on, discussions about the image circulated, theories spread, and eventually people forgot about the infamous QTA sequence.

That is, until it was spotted in Halo: Reach.

This special forces Marine can be found on Tip of the Spear. He appears in multiple parts of the level and he sports the unique QTA XII / VI sequence on his utility. Now, some people speculate that this Marine does something special, or he unlocks something unique. Personally, I feel as if the Marine is nothing special, because all throughout the campaign you can find Marines, special looking, and regular, sporting the sequence on their utility. Not all the Marines have it, but a few select ones do. Now, what exactly QTA means, no one knows, but there are so many possibilities stretching from Bible references, all the way to links to the older Halo games.

I feel as if this sequence is on the Marines for us to notice and remember it from ODST. I think Bungie wants us to go back to ODST and try and figure out once and for all what QTA means and why it's of importance in the ODST campaign. Only time will tell, and maybe one day Bungie will reveal what exactly QTA stands for and why it's everywhere.

New Alexandria Secret Door Update

As people began researching this door even more, it seems as if the door is indeed upside down. This right away indicates that this door was a last minute add by Bungie, or they added the door and never came back to it then they put a regular door in front of it. Behind the door, is simply an empty room with nothing inside of it. The walls are glitchy, and even in front of the door you can't step in some areas due to the room not being finished. Unless you have to step inside of the room in order for something to happen, or progress through the mission a bit more for something to spawn inside, this is a dead end guys.

Update on New Alexandria Secret Door

What you see above is us checking out the newly found mystery door. In the video I am flickering my night vision and by doing so you can see right through the door. In the video you can't see through the door due to the restrictions by Bungie not allowing night vision to be seen in videos, but do this for yourself and you can see inside.

Now, what's most interesting is that off the left side you can see some kind of flickering light which glows up and down the wall. It's really interesting and it's only on that one side? What is it? Who knows. Go check this out guys!

New Alexandria Secet Door?

Seen above is a video of a "secret" door found on the level "New Alexandria". This door resembles the doors and the theme set at Club Errera. What is most interesting about this door is the fact that there is one door that opens up first, then the second door is party themed and just doesn't fit the theme of most of the New Alexandria doors. Who knows what is to come from this, it might be something, it may be nothing. One theory is that after hitting each switch in this level, the door opens. If you aren't busy go ahead and check this out!
